MiG-31 Replaces MiG-25

Those wishing to "fly to the edge of space" will now find themselves strapped into the rear cockpit of the MiG-31 Foxhound, the successor to the popular MiG-25 Foxbat. The MiG-31 flies high while also offering excellent performance at low altitudes...something the MiG-25 did not. Flights take place at the Sokol Aircraft Building Plant in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The Sokol factory has made news lately for its successful efforts to convert the MiG-31 from a fourth generation fighter into a fifth generation fighter.
