Jets are Great...But...

Not everyone can afford a flight in a jet fighter. But then again, you don't really need to be in a jet to get a feel for what it's like to be a fighter pilot. Air combat programs in the US provide a cost-effective alternative. You can perform many of the same loops, rolls and evasive air maneuvers in a Marchetti, T-34 or Extra and the cost ranges from around $800 to $1100. By comparison, a flight in a fighter jet will range from around $3000 to $13,000.
